I had forgotten about All Flesh Must Be Eaten! I've never managed to pick up a copy, but I have flipped through it in my FLGS. I may have to check that out if my group gives me the OK to run a dark, dirty and humorous game of zombie slaying!

Thanks, DeadGod.

There is always All Flesh Must Be Eaten!

Although my dream is to some day get players interested in playing a zombie scenario using the Morrow Project rules. :)

Thanks for the tip, Sean. I'll check out that system. I've heard of it before, but never actually bought the rules to read them.

I think I would go for light system like FATE for something like this, which sounds like a lot of fun. Good luck and let us know how it goes if you try it out.

Exactly, the players and GM should be working together to build a fun play experience for all. And every character should have their chance to shine. Characters with odd signature quirks, like a bow in cyberpunk, just make those moments so much more interesting.

Thanks for the feedback. The Barnavelt novels sound like fun reads. I'll have to check them out.

Reminds me of Uncle Jonathan from the Lewis Barnavelt novels. He was actually a wizard, regardless of graduating from an agricultural college, and came into a house with supernatural properties of its own.

We started combat up close and personal just to see what it was like. As it was an experiment with the system, we didn't discover the Range and Cover rules until part way through the fight. You're right that with those rules in place and being used properly, archers have a great advantage.

Are you looking at the Range and Cover rules or the Fight rules? For most bow combat, you'll be using Range and Cover which means you're able to shoot once per volley assuming you win positioning.

Good old Champions, such a great system. (Though I admit I have not looked at 6th ed except casually.) I have so many good memories of playing, and GMing, Champs over the years. But I have not played in ages at this point.
